W-MART first opened its doors in Porto on March 31, 2023, under the name “우리마켓 포르투” (Uri Market Porto).

Established as the first Korean store in Porto, W-MART remains the only supermarket in the city specializing in Korean food products. It is a highly appreciated space where customers can experience the diversity of Korean cuisine and culture.

On December 6, 2024, the store adopted the name W-MART and moved to a larger, more comfortable location, offering a renewed environment to welcome its customers. Today, W-MART attracts not only Korean tourists visiting Porto but also a growing number of local customers interested in Korean cuisine and culture. Additionally, customers of various nationalities visit the store, forming a global and diverse customer base.
